Chlorine Dioxide Disinfects and Sanitizes Surfaces Quickly
Chlorine Dioxide exists as a gas in water. It can kill bacteria, fungi, algae, viruses and spores when in contact with these organisms from a few seconds to a few minutes. DioxiGuard™ spray disinfectant and contact surface sanitizer is different in the WAY it destroys pathogens.
Active chlorine dioxide exists as a gas in water. It is absorbed into the bacteria, fungi, algae, viruses, etc. cells instead of having to break down the cell wall, creating breaches for the leakage of cell contents and interfering with the transport of nutrients. This allows for a rapid, almost immediate kill. Perhaps the biggest advantage of chlorine dioxide over other sanitizers is that bacteria cannot develop a resistance to it.
Most sanitizers and disinfectants claim to be a deodorizer by controlling the odor causing bacteria. However, these products are not capable of eliminating the odors that already formed like DioxiGuard™ chlorine dioxide spray disinfectant does.
